Why 2:22?
The name is intentional. 2 Timothy 2:22 calls us to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace — together with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. That's the heart of this community.
Our Story
How It Started
Two friends. One shared conviction: that Christian singles in the Lafayette area deserved more than a Sunday morning handshake. They deserved a real community — one that shows up, prays together, grows together, and does life together.
2:22 Lafayette Christian Singles Collective was born out of that conviction. Inspired by 2 Timothy 2:22, we are called to "pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace" alongside others who seek the Lord with a pure heart. Our desire is to create a community where Christian singles can build genuine friendships, grow in faith, serve others, and pursue Christ together.

The Word is our foundation. Every gathering, every conversation, every decision flows from it.

We are not a social club. We are family — and family shows up for each other.

Who Is 2:22 For?
Primarily, 2:22 exists for Christian singles 18 and older in the Lafayette area who are looking for genuine community, accountability, and a spiritual family.
But our doors are wider than that. If you're married, widowed, divorced, or simply searching — if you need prayer, fellowship, or just a table to sit at — you are welcome here. Ministry doesn't stop at relationship status.
